We’re so excited to welcome local author Ashley Christine to share her new book Katana gets a family: Lessons of a Labradoodle!
Katana longs for a family. She wants people she can love who will love her back and teach her new and interesting things. Unfortunately, the first family to bring Katana home isn’t equipped to take care of a puppy and bring her back to the shelter, where she feels lonely and abandoned. then, Katana meets Ashley and Jacky!
Not only do Jacky and Ashley teach Katana many lessons, Katana teaches them as well. This story is the first in a series of books based on the real-life experiences of a labradoodle who melted the hearts of everyone she met. Ashley Christine came up with the idea for this series when Katana was a puppy. She hopes that Katana’s story will support children and those who love them in reading and learning together. Maggy is honored to have supported Ashley Christine in finding the words to tell Katana’s story.
